Weekend

Connor wanted to run in the Medford Fire 5K Run, so Matt and him ran it yesterday.  Connor beat his dad by 1 minute and was in the top 30.  We might have a runner on our hands folks. I will remain silent on my thoughts about that. ;) ;)

The younger 3 and I continued with our garage sale.  It was a success.  We got rid of so much stuff and that was my goal!

It was a hot day and after a graduation party we were invited to we went to the pool.  Matt, K, and the girls joined us.

Today we stopped at a friends birthday party for an hour and then met up with some other friends to go watch Monsters University.  We have been waiting for this movie to come out!!  It didn’t disappoint.

One of the items on the Live auction at the Night of Knights auction is a class pool party.  We got parents together and bought it for Connor’s class.  Being a teacher and on the committee I volunteered to chaperone it with another teacher before we knew who was buying it.

Weekend Catch up, again.

I am really falling behind on blogging. Constantly feel like I am playing catch up.

Saturday I finally got the pool (bought a new one) up and the boys played in it all morning and early afternoon before heading to my cousin’s house for her daughters’ birthday party. They were exhausted when we got home.

Sunday we met up with Natey and Diane. They have been talking about taking the boys to Underwater Adventures for awhile now, so we finally got a date on the calendar and stuck with it. 100_7873

We walked through Nickelodeon land and Lego land to waste some time. We also ate and I had Noodles & Company. I LOVE LOVE LOVE noodles. I wish there was one closer to where I live. Maybe not if I’m trying to lose weight. ;)

We also went to Despicable Me in 3D. This was the first 3D movie the boys had been to, and I hadn’t been to one since I was younger. They thought it was really cool and the movie was really cute also. Cute story: We were talking about going to the 3D movie and Natey asked Connor if he knew what 3D meant. He shook his head yes and said it means that kids under 3 can go to it (like PG 13, etc…). We got a little chuckle out of that. 100_7880

Today we just hung low. The boys wanted to play pirates so we did. We made one mean ship if I may say so, out of our couch, cushions, and pillows. We had Pirate Bones, Pirate Yellow Teeth, Pirate Long hair, and Captain Eye Patch Steve. We stole tons of treasures and made many pirates walk the plank.

We even had a visit from Pirate Princess in the afternoon (I gladly gave up my spot on the ship for her). ;) 100_7882

BEEEEG Pool.......

Today we went to church and to eat at Perkins where the boys got balloons. Someone was thinking when they created balloons. Jacob and Nolan could play with them for hours. We also put up our swimming pool, or like Jacob calls it the BEEEEEEG pool. It's not all that big, but I suppose to him it is big. It'll be perfect for us this summer. It's goes up to Nolan's neck. Obviously, someone will always be in there with them. We hope to use the Aquatic Center a ton this summer, but we're not going to go there every day. This pool will be great fun for us this summer. While the pool was getting set up, the adults and kids had water gun fights. I'm not sure who had more fun, as you can see in some of the pictures.
