Sledding and a Movie

Monday afternoon we went sledding. Lucky for us, Grandma joined us. The boys are maniacs when it comes to sledding. The faster the better, the more daring the cooler it is…..

Big push….. how many people does it take to push a daddy and son down the hill?

Grandma went to get Grandpa and we all went to the movie Yogi Bear. The boys got some good laughs in. Great way to spend a day during winter break.

Christmas Day

Christmas morning came way too fast. The boys all slept together in Jacob and Nolan’s room. Connor was up early asking if we could get up to go check if Santa came (which I was impressed with because normally kids would just go run out and look themselves). So……we all got up and headed into the living room. The boys opened their presents from Santa and then noticed that he left them a letter. Connor read it out loud. They had to go find one more present that was hiding.

Daddy made us a big yummy brunch and after our bellies were full we headed back to mom and dad’s for some more fun.

Of course there was more present opening…..

Grandpa was kept pretty busy with this…….

We played some games and some Wii. Connor got a new game called Headbanz….it’s a ton of fun. We played some new Wii games, Minute to Win It, Carnival Games, and Just Dance 2 ---loads of fun.

Mom and dad made Prime Rib and Shrimp again….we always have such a delicious feast…..mmmmmmm

The guys kicked us out of the kitchen when it came to cleaning. Gotta love that!!!!

It was so nice just hanging out, watching some movies, and playing with our new toys.

What a fun time. Thank you for all of our wonderful presents Grandma and Grandpa. Group hug…..

We all stayed overnight again. It sounds silly being that we all live in town, but it’s so fun being able to be in our pjs, stay up late having fun, and then all waking up (not to mention mom feeding us again with a delicious breakfast!).

Christmas Eve

Christmas #3 and #4 started Friday, Christmas Eve. Matt went into work for a little bit in the morning and the boys and I hung out. Later in the afternoon we opened a few gifts. We started something new this year. The boys picked out a present for each other (together). We opened that one first. They did well because each boy loved the gift they got from their brothers. We opened a few more and then got ready to head to grandma and grandpa's house.

Before we left Connor got Santa's plate of goodies ready because we wouldn't be back home until late after 10pm mass. The boys are normally sleeping by then. ;)

At mom and dad's we started with pictures since the kids were still clean! ;)

We had some appetizers and drinks and opened some presents.

We have been going to the 10pm Christmas Eve mass the past few years and I love it. It's so pretty, and the music is beautiful. We put the boys in their pajamas and they normally fall asleep during it.
