Even though you aren’t home to celebrate with us today (you’re whooping it up in Dallas I am sure!) we hope you have a wonderful day! We can’t wait to celebrate with you when you get home.
We love you!

Matt and I took Jacob and Nolan to the Twins game on the 13th and Brrr….was it cold. Coats, hats, and mittens. I had to go up and stand under the warmers for a little bit.
This landed in our yard. Later we saw it grab some road kill and fly off….must have been scoping it out.
There is a piano teacher that gives lesson right at school and I asked her to keep her eyes and ears open for anyone wanting to sell a piano. She got an email from someone wanting to sell and passed it on to me and the rest is history. I think we got a really good deal. Connor started lessons this week on Tuesdays at 7:30am. It’s so nice that they are right at school.
Saturday the 20th was the 27th Night of Knights Auction. Matt and I were on the committee which is a 3 year commitment, so this was our last year. It was a lot of work, a LOT of work, but so worth it and so much fun. We met some great couples and felt a great accomplishments raising so much money for the school. This year we raised $160,000+. Next year we can go and just enjoy it!
Sigh…..he looks so sweet, innocent, and calm here. ;)

Happy Birthday Nolan. There is no one like you. You have a sparkle and twinkle in your eye that can get you out of anything and then melt my heart. You can make us laugh and yell in the same 30 seconds! ;) You have so much energy and passion for life. You do everything at 110% which sometimes causes you frustration because you expect and want to do it perfectly. You are fierce, competitive, and inquisitive. We sit for long periods while you ask questions that I would never think of. You love learning. You are a great big brother to Lucas and he has so much fun with you. You definitely make life interesting and it’s going to be one great ride with you (with a few bumps and bruises along the way of course!). You have had an awesome Kindergarten year and we can’t wait to watch you grow. Love ya bud!
Friday we headed to the Science Museum with my parents and then stayed at the Waterpark of America. Mattey, Kristin, and the girls and Natey and Diane met up with us Saturday morning to stay for the rest of the weekend.
Watching a show on combustion. They look pretty interested.
When we headed to the hotel, the boys were pretty pumped to head to the waterpark right away.
Look at this cute little diva! She already has the pose down. Saturday morning when everyone got there we all headed back down to the waterpark again.
We went back to the room for a lunch break and celebrated Jacob and Nolan’s birthdays.
We went back to the waterpark for more fun and then came back to the room for pizza, games, cupcakes, and some March Madness basketball.
Sunday morning we had our own little breakfast buffet and then it wouldn’t be a weekend without making a stop at the arcade.
We got home, unpacked, took bathes, and has some nice good ol’ family time (sarcasm). How sad is this picture! Like father, like sons! J/K
What a great weekend. Back to reality tomorrow.
