Buddies, Vikings game, and Birthday Celebrations

I caught this cute moment on camera.  Since Wardy’s been gone, Teddy has really been warming up.  It’s almost as if he’s lonely and misses Wardy so he wants to now be by us. He’s definitely more lovey.

Matt got 2 tickets to a Vikings game from work to the game vs. the Redskins.  Nolan really likes RG3, so Matt was going to take him.  However, for some reason the tickets got traded and he got a different set to the Cleveland Browns game, but he still took Nolan because he was pretty pumped about it.  Matt even borrowed a Vikings jersey from someone to wear!

They went up plenty early and as they were sitting down a guy came up to them and said he had some extra field passes and asked them if they wanted them.  Ummm…yeah! Nolan thought it was pretty cool to be on the field as they were warming up.  Pretty lucky guy!

While they were doing that, the rest of the boys and I went over to Grandma and Grandpa’s house.  It was Grandma’s birthday AND the boys had to work off some money that my parents donated to the boys for a school fundraiser.  Grandma put them to work as we watched the game.  Matt and Nolan joined us when they got home for some ice cream treats.  Happy Birthday mom!  I love you very much and am so lucky to call you friend and mother.

Last night Connor had his birthday party.  He had a few friends sleepover.  We have a rule that when the boys have a birthday party or friends over, their brothers get to play with them for part of it.  Just comes with the package I guess! ;)

They had a mean game of football going on outside

Welcome Shelby and Carson!

Shelby and Carson came into the world today.  One day short of my birthday – bummer!  That would have been one sweet birthday gift.  We headed over to the hospital to love up those babes and visit and Natey and Diane.  They are adorable and look so different.  Shelby has a head full of beautiful dark hair and Carson is a bald little peanut.  He’s so tiny.  The boys couldn’t wait to hold them, as well as Matt and I. of course

The proud papa and proud parents with their new family.

Aren’t they just beautiful!

One day full of Football and Soccer

Connor had such a great football season.  This sounds bad, but he really surprised us. He had quite a few touchdowns and the thing that was most surprising was how his skinny little body would tackle and take down.  He was way more aggressive than I would have thought.  It was really fun.

Jacob and Nolan were in the Football Skills camp Saturday mornings.   Nolan wasn’t too sure about it (as he is with anything new, especially in front of other people), but then had a blast.

Shh….don’t tell anyone, but they totally cheated when told what number to go to for their groups and purposely went to the same group.  I loved it because it was easy to watch them both.

Connor had another soccer game today

Something I learned and that I love with soccer is that after the game both teams run around the field and give high fives to their fans.  Very cool idea.
