Happy St. Patty’s Day

Those pesky little green guys did it again.  Our house was a mess when we woke up.  Things in places they shouldn’t be, pillows thrown around, our water and toiled water green, etc….

We had a green breakfast to start of the day.

Happy St. Patrick’s day!

You know…. I kind of am wishing those darn pesky little leprechauns never decided to make a visit to our house…..because now they have to make a visit EVERY year. ;)

They were just as pesky as always….broke through our trap….

Connor made some nifty stairs to help them get to the ladder…

The living room was completely messed up…..

The toilet water was green again as well.

We had a very green dinner … Green Grilled Cheese, Green Lettuce Salad, Green Peas and Carrots, Green Milk, and Green Pudding. The boys weren’t too sure about it at first….but then after trying it decided it tasted enough like it usually does that they could eat it. ;)

Happy St. Patrick's Day

I don't know about you, but those pesky little Leprechauns sure messed up our house. I think they were probably planning on skipping our house until Connor so graciously talked about it all day yesterday and couldn't wait to see what they did to our house like last year. Man, they have their work cut out for them to keep it up year after year (just like the Easter Bunny, Tooth fairy, Santa and Elfie, St. Nick, and all those other crazy people that decide to visit our house and do something fun and special). ;) I'm pretty sure the Leprechauns are tired today.

We had upside down boots, lights up, pillows piled up, chairs on our table, table and chairs turned over, cars lined up our stairs, and our water turned green. Man, they were busy.
They even turned my picture green.

O' Happy Day!

Leprechaun Trap

We worked on Connor's family homework last night (yes, the night before it is due - hey, give me a break, we had a very busy weekend!) of making a Leprechaun trap. The wheels were a turning that's for sure. Hopefully it's OK that we used part of what we made last year and tweaked it adding on a few things. It worked out great. Connor is pretty confident that he is going to catch a Leprechaun this year and he says that if you catch one and ask for it's gold, it has to give it to you I guess. He kept saying, "Yep, we're definitely getting some gold this year!". Wouldn't that be nice. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
Connor also said that Leprechauns like to cause mischief and that he can only imagine what they are going to do to our house tonight. I'm scared to find out. We'll keep you posted.

In Jacob's birthday post I mentioned that he is such a great sharer. Well, tonight we went to Target to spend the money that Nana gave him for his birthday. We walked up and down all of the aisles and he finally decided to by some cars from the movie Cars. He got three of them and says to me, "This way there is three of them, like there are us three brothers. We can all have one to play with then.". It made me so proud. He picked out the three he wanted, but then asked Connor and Jacob which one they wanted to play with. He wanted the same one that Nolan did, but let Nolan have it. It melted my heart.

Happy St. Patrick's Day....those darn leprechauns

Well, those darn leprechauns made a visit to our house. We didn't catch one, but he obviously tried to get our gold. He left footprints, turned our table and chairs upside down, left shamrocks all over, turned our kitchen sink water green, and left a treat by the boys' toothbrushes. That silly guy!

Connor wanted to reinact what the leprechaun did to our table and chairs.
I had Connor's conference tonight. We're so proud of him. Keep up the great work Connor! We love you!

Lucky Leprechaun

Connor and I made a leprechaun trap tonight. He doesn't think it will work because leprechauns can vanish, so we'll see if it works. ( I got this and a few other ideas for tomorrow from some creative ladies that TipJunkie featured)
Here Connor is cutting out our fake gold.

We're hoping the leprechaun will fall through the trap after trying to get the gold.
What a beautiful day today! We rode our bikes around the block a few times when we got home.

Jacob got a new robe for his birthday.
