Mother’s Day

Mother’s day started with church.  After church Diane and Kristin got a Mother’s day/Baby blessing on the Twins.  Connor got to help out.

Connor thought it was cool that his uncle’s and him were all wearing the same color.

After church we went to Cabela’s for their breakfast buffet.  It was very good – I was actually surprised.  Then we had fun walking around the store looking at all the animals.  The boys had fun having minnows put in their hands.  They said they tickled!

We had to laugh after looking at this picture.  We sort of match and we kind of blend into the background!

Happy Mother’s day to an amazing woman who I have learned so much from.  Mom, you are always there for me, all of us.  You are such a hard worker, caring person, and involved in the community.  I know I get that from you and am so glad.  I only hope to be half the mom you are (ok, maybe a little more!) throughout my life of motherhood.  Thank you for being a great mom and wonderful friend.  I love you!!!

We got home from brunch and Matt and the boys put up the trampoline.   It’s finally nice enough.

I absolutely adore being the mother of these 4 boys.  I always knew I wanted to be a mom, but had no idea what it would be like and how it would change my life.  I am so very blessed.

Happy Mother’s day also to my mother-in-law Barb.  Thank you for raising such a great man and for being a great mom to both of us as well!  We love you!

Happy Mother’s Day

Happy Mother’s day to all you wonderful mothers out there.  There is no better job than being a mother.  Becoming a mom has changed my life completely and I couldn’t imagine not being one.  I am so blessed.

We started the day off by going to church and then everyone headed over to our house.  We had a small breakfast before heading out to get our flowers, a tradition going strong now for about 4 years.

My lovely mom and her 3 wonderful children! ;) :)

When we come back from getting our flowers and everything we dump our pots and dirt into the middle of the tarp, mix up the dirt, and go wild.

After we were done potting, we cleaned up a little bit and headed to dinner at the Plaza, and after filling our bellies everyone headed their own way.

My beautiful mom and me.

The boys chose to go to a park so we went and played.

My four joys!

Like I said, I can’t imagine my life as anything other than a mother.  Those 4 smiling faces up above have changed my life forever and my heart is full.  I love them so much.

Happy Mother’s day to my mom who is always there for me and has been a huge role model in my life.  I am so glad we have the relationship that we do.  I love you!

Happy Mother’s day also to Matt’s mom, Barb.  Thank you for your son and for accepting me into your family from the start and always being there.  We love you!

Mother’s Day

For Mother's day we did our traditional potting. It's so nice to do it together. After church we went out for breakfast and then mom, Kristin, and I headed out to get our flowers. The guys and kiddos hung out and played. Here is mom's car full of our flowers.

Another great Mother's day with two wonderful moms and our families (Nate and Diane were actually on their way home from their honeymoon).

Happy Mothers Day

Being a mom has changed my life forever. Those of you mothers out there know what I mean. It's hard to believe you can love someone so much....(and it's a different kind of love then the love you have for your spouse).

These four boys below rock my world. Though times get crazy, stressful, chaotic, LOUD.....I wouldn't change a thing when it comes right down to it. Plain and simple.

There are times when I just sit and look or watch one of them/ all of them and am amazed at how lucky I am, how fast time has already flown by, how I don't want to miss any of it...

Nate and Diane Wedding

I was a very lucky mom this year and got some beautiful homemade (or schoolmade I guess) gifts.

We would also like to wish our moms a Happy Mother's day.

Barbara Jean, thank you for all that you do for us and for having a huge part in making Matt the man he is today. Thank you also for your love and acceptance of me from the start. I love this picture of mom and son swinging.......you're never too old right?!

Vickie Jo, thank you for EVERYTHING - for being there to listen, for giving advice, for helping us out with the boys. I truly hope you know how much I appreciate you, treasure our relationship and friendship, and love you (and enjoy wine with you!).

Happy Mother’s Day

I am so blessed to be the mother of these four beautiful boys. All so different and bringing so many things to my life, especially joy and love. I cannot even imagine my life without these wonderful little guys and one big guy. Thanks for giving me the four best Mother’s day gifts ever Matt.

We started the day off with church and breakfast. Here’s mom and her three kids (biological that is because I know she considers Matt, Kristin, and Diane her kids also!).

For the last few years now it’s been a tradition to go get our flowers together and come back and pot them at our house. We make a big mess and have a great time. I hope it’s something we keep doing for awhile. The boys love getting right in there and getting dirty.

After all the hard work we ordered pizza and relaxed for a little while.

What a great day.

Happy Mother’s day mom! I am the woman and mom I am today because of you. I hope that I will some day be 1/2 the mom that you were and are. I am so fortunate to have the relationship with you that I do as a daughter and friend. Thank you for always being there for me, for all that you do for Matt and I, and for the boys. You truly bring joy to our family and make all of us feel special and loved. I love you! We all do.
