Recent funnies....life is never dull around here

Jacob's Valentine was like Connor's last year where we took the picture of him and did some editing like this ...

and then put slits on the top and bottom of his fist and put the stick of a sucker through it like he was handing it to them (got this idea from a blog a year ago). Anywho. Apparently his little friend Morgan (the one who has a crush on him) brought his Valentine picture back to school on Tuesday as her home box (like Show and Tell)! Her mom told me about it.

Nolan told me that he wishes he could have a TV in his room. Not sure where he got that from.

The boys were talking about stories and some how got talking about wolves. This turned into talking about the big bad wolf in The Three Little Pigs. Nolan said, "Yeah, he says 'Not by the hair on my chest, chest, chest'". He was serious. ;)

We were taking Connor to school today (I had to stay home with Nolan with diarrhea and Lucas had a fever last night) and on the way home Nolan said, "Mommy, do you know girls have boobs?" Did he seriously just ask me that? Yep. Very clearly.
"Ummmm, (staying totally calm so that Nolan would just talk to me about it) where did you hear that from?"
"Owen told me that. He said that girls have boobs and boys have ....umm....what are they called? Nickles. Knuckles. Yeah. Knuckles"
I had to close my mouth tight so I would not burst of laughing. He meant to say nipples....
I then told him he was right, and asked him if he knew where they were. He started to point to his hips, thought for a moment and then pointed to his chest and told me that they are "where your muscles are".
It brought a huge smile to my face. The rest of the day they would point and tell me where my boobs are. If they were snuggling with me and laying on me, they would tell me. We were sitting and reading a book at one time and Nolan started pulling my shirt up and was trying to show me where mine were. They were so serious about it like they were teaching me something new. That's what made it so cute....they weren't even being silly about it. I just tried to agree with them, yep, but then change the subject. Thank you for that lesson boys, I was wondering what those things were. ;)
