Nolan had his preschool graduation today. We have been talking about and preparing for this for weeks. We started out as “I don’t want to do graduation” and then moved to “How many days until graduation?” to “I’m going to do graduation” (and telling us that he wanted us to sit in the middle or in the back – that was our mistake for the Christmas concert when we sat right in the front row). We were all pumped that he was going to do it. The poor guy made it up on the risers, but as soon as he looked out into the audience the tears came. Miss Karen had him come down and sit by her. She was able to get him up there for the last song (mostly I think because there were actions and he didn’t have to look out). Ugh….poor guy. However, I have been much more relaxed and go with the flow this time around because Jacob is a completely different kid this year. It will all work out. I just felt bad for him. Way to make it through one song though buddy! In his slideshow and video they made he said he wants to be a race car driver. Oh boy….doesn’t surprise me, but also won’t be happening! :) I’m so proud of the great year you had Nolan. Great job. You are full of life!
These two lovely ladies get a break from our family for a couple years until it’s time for Lucas!
Speaking of Lucas, we are struggling with bed time a little bit. I’ll get him into bed and then he’ll come out a couple of times. This is what we found out on the couch after tucking the other three boys into bed. ;)
